Please join us in celebrating the launch of the November issue of Gender & Development, which examines natural resource justice through the lens of gender equality and women's rights.
From a riveting account of life in a Ugandan artisanal gold mining camp to understanding the gendered impact of resource development in Guatemala, and challenging "super-patriarchy" in large-scale mining, the development researchers, practitioners, and feminist activists contributing to this issue seek to unpack just what it would take to put gender equality and women's rights at the center of natural resource justice.
Caroline Sweetman, Editor of Gender & Development, will moderate a panel of experts in discussing the implications of the articles and charting ways forward.
